These are the 43 restaurants Michelin gave stars to in Thailand, ranked top to bottom. It opens with two three-star houses: Sorn, where a southern crab curry anchors a twenty-plus-course tasting menu, and Sühring, the German twins whose Wildpastete game pie tells you exactly who they are. Below them sit eight two-star rooms and thirty-three one-stars, from Le Du's charcoal-grilled river prawn to Jay Fai's crab omelette. Eat down the list and you watch Thai cooking hold its own beside French, Indian and sushi.
Sorn
Budget per person is THB 7,800++ for the regular tasting menu; once you add service charge and tax, prepare around THB 9,180 per person, and full payment is required at the time of booking. The key condition to know before you book is that there are no refunds, reschedules, or cancellations of any kind. Arriving more than 30 minutes late means you forfeit your table, and the kitchen cannot accommodate shellfish allergies or vegetarian/vegan diets.
There are two doors to booking. The first, for everyone, is TableCheck, which opens booking for the following month at noon Bangkok time on the 25th of every month (moved to the 24th if the 25th falls on a Saturday). There are only about 22 seats, so you need to click the instant it opens. The second door, for international guests, is the email reservation@sornfinesouthern.com from midnight Bangkok time on the 15th, or call +66 99 081 1119. The restaurant serves dinner only from 18:00 (the official Instagram lists Sunday–Friday, closed Saturday — double-check the exact seating times on TableCheck). To get there, take the BTS to Phrom Phong then walk into Sukhumvit Soi 26 for about 15 minutes; if you're driving, you can park at the Four Wings Hotel for THB 50/hour, with a free shuttle to the restaurant. Sühring
Budget to prepare: tasting menu THB 7,800 (short) or THB 9,800 (long, ~7 courses), plus wine pairings THB 5,800–9,800 if you want to go all in — all told, per person can approach twenty thousand baht if you're drinking too. Booking is the hardest part — reserve online via SevenRooms up to 60 days ahead, and since earning the 3rd star, Saturday–Sunday tables sell out within minutes of the system opening. It's recommended to click the moment the 60-day window opens, or call +66 2 107 2777 / email the restaurant directly. If you miss dinner, try aiming for lunch Thursday–Sunday 12:30–14:30, which is much easier to book.
Watch out on cancellations: within 48 hours or a no-show can incur a THB 5,800 fee per person. There's no train station right at the door — BTS Chong Nonsi and MRT Lumphini are both around 2 km away. Take a taxi from the Sathorn area, about 10 minutes, straight into Yen Akat Soi 3. Dinner starts around 17:30–18:00, closed Mondays (some sources also list Tuesday). Check the actual schedule on SevenRooms before every visit. Dress smart casual, with men in long trousers. Read the full review →
Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie
Budget to prepare: a 3-course lunch at THB 4,500++ per person, or the dinner "Voyage" menu of 7 courses at THB 9,000++ per person (plus service charge and tax), or order à la carte with a minimum of 3 dishes per person. Book through the SevenRooms system on the Mandarin Oriental website — the detail you can't afford to miss is the 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancel later than that and you're charged THB 2,250 per person for lunch, or THB 4,500 per person for dinner. Groups of 6 or more can't book online and must call +66 2 659 9000 or email the hotel directly. Any allergies or dietary restrictions also need to be flagged 48 hours in advance.
The restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday, lunch 12:00–15:30 (last order 13:30 — arrive later than that and you'll miss it), dinner 18:30–23:30 (last order 21:00), and mark this in red: 6–28 July 2026 the restaurant closes for its annual renovation. To get there, take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and walk about 10 minutes into the hotel, or if you're a hotel guest, the boat to Oriental Pier is a more comfortable option. The dress code is serious: at dinner, men must wear a jacket (loaner jackets available), and sleeveless shirts are not allowed. We'd recommend booking the 18:30 seating so you can watch the evening light turn into night lights over the Chao Phraya during your meal. Read the full review →
Baan Tepa
First things first: Baan Tepa is temporarily closed for renovation, from after 2 May 2026, and is expected to reopen around 26 August 2026 — don't call a car to Ramkhamhaeng just yet. If you want to taste Chef Tam's cooking while you wait, look to the pop-up at F.V Sukhumvit 39 from 22 Jul–2 Aug 2026 (Wed–Sun, seatings at 17:00 and 20:00), priced at THB 4,500++ or about THB 5,297 net, booked via LINE @BAANTEPA or WhatsApp +66 98 696 9074
For regular service once it reopens, budget THB 6,200++ per person (about THB 7,298 paid in practice) for the 7-course tasting menu, dinner Wednesday–Sunday, seatings at 18:00 / 19:00 / 20:00. Booking runs through TableCheck, which opens a 60-day advance window; solo diners should email reservation@baantepabkk.com instead of booking online. Key rules to know: children 12 and up only, and there's no vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free option. Getting there is the part to plan for — the Ramkhamhaeng/Bang Kapi area has no nearby train line, so a taxi or Grab is the only convenient answer. Worth following the @baantepabkk page, since the reopening booking date will be announced there first. Read the full review →
Chef's Table
Budget for THB 9,200++ for the seven-course menu, plus 10% service charge and 7% VAT. Add the seven-glass wine pairing and that's another THB 8,800++ — a couple should set aside somewhere in the low thirty-thousands total. Booking is easier than you'd expect — use lebua's TableCheck system online, or call +66 2 624 9555 / WhatsApp +66 61 406 9999. No need to fight for a slot months out like at other two-star names; most of the time you'll see availability just days to a few weeks ahead.
Getting there means taking BTS to Saphan Taksin and walking about 10 minutes to State Tower in the Silom/Bang Rak riverside area, but leave extra time for the lobby process and the lift up to the 61st floor. The one thing you cannot get wrong is the dress code — smart elegant, with men required to wear a collared shirt and long trousers. No T-shirts, sleeveless tops, shorts, or caps. The hotel is genuinely strict about this — show up in the wrong outfit and you may not make it upstairs at all. Book an evening slot so you catch the Bangkok skyline lit up across the glass. Côte by Mauro Colagreco
Budget to prepare: the Carte Blanche 9-course menu runs around THB 7,800 per person, or the Escapade 4-course lunch set around THB 3,300 (both plus 10% service charge and 7% VAT — lunch pricing shifts by season, so double-check when you book). Booking is done online via SevenRooms, or you can call through the Capella Bangkok hotel's reservations desk. Friday–Sunday dinner seatings fill fastest, so book at least one to two weeks ahead; weekday lunch is far more flexible.
The restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday, lunch 12:00–14:00 (last order 13:30, don't be late), dinner 18:00–22:00, closed Monday–Tuesday. To get there, take the BTS to Saphan Taksin, then walk along Charoenkrung Road for about 12 minutes, or take a short taxi ride into the hotel. Dress smart casual. If you want the best light and a clear river view, book lunch and ask for a window table; for dinner, the 18:00 seating catches the river at dusk right before the sky goes dark. Gaa
Budget for the main Gaa Experience course is THB 6,200++ per person (raised from THB 5,200, effective 1 July 2026), the vegetarian course is THB 5,200++, and the weekend afternoon tea is THB 1,800. Booking goes through TableCheck and is prepaid. The good news is you don't need to fight for a table months out the way you do at some other two-star restaurants — open the booking page and you'll usually find tables free within the next few weeks. But know the rules: free cancellation up to 48 hours before your meal (24 hours for afternoon tea), a no-show is charged the full menu price, allergies or dietary requests need at least 24 hours' notice, and if you want to bring your own wine, corkage is THB 3,000 (waived if you buy from their cellar instead).
Dinner is open daily from 17:30; Saturday and Sunday add lunch and afternoon tea from noon. Getting there is easy — take the BTS to Thong Lo, then walk into Sukhumvit Soi 53 for about 7 minutes. There's no strict dress code, just dress appropriately for the occasion. Worth repeating: this is a tasting-menu restaurant that only seats guests with a reservation — walking up to the door won't get you a table. Read the full review →
INDDEE
Budget per head starts with the 8-Destination Journey course at THB 4,200++, or the 10-Destination Journey at THB 4,900++ (vegetable version THB 4,200++), not including drinks. Add the award-winning Star Wine List wine pairing and the all-in budget MICHELIN lists runs about THB 5,000–9,999 per person. Booking is easiest through the SevenRooms system on the reservations page of inddeebkk.com, or you can call +66 62 812 9696 or email reservations@inddeebkk.com. Since the promotion to 2 stars in the 2026 guide, Friday–Saturday seats have been disappearing noticeably faster — book at least 1–2 weeks ahead, and if you want the chef's table or a private room, request it when you book.
The restaurant is open daily 17:30–23:30, in the Langsuan/Chit Lom area, about a 9-minute walk from BTS Ratchadamri. Worth knowing: the restaurant sits down a small alley off Soi Langsuan, so allow an extra 5 minutes to find the entrance; parking is available for anyone driving. The best slot is the first seating, 17:30–18:00, so you can take your time through every course of the long journey without rushing. Read the full review →
Mezzaluna
Budget starts at THB 8,000++ per person for the 7-course menu, or THB 9,600++ for 9 courses, plus 10% service and 7% VAT — set aside somewhere in the low five figures (Thai baht) per person to be comfortable. Booking goes through TableCheck and requires a THB 3,000 per-person deposit, credited against the actual bill on the day. Free amendment or cancellation up to 72 hours before your booking. If online booking isn't your thing, call +66 2 624 9555 or message WhatsApp +66 61 406 9999 instead.
The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, 17:30–00:30, closed Sundays, with the last booking slot at 21:30 — though the recommendation is to book the earliest slot at 17:30, since that's when you get the full sunset over the Chao Phraya from the 65th floor. Getting there is easier than it sounds: take the BTS to Saphan Taksin, then walk about 7 minutes to State Tower, allowing a little extra time for lobby security and the lift up to the 65th floor. Don't forget to dress to the smart elegant code — men need a collared shirt and long trousers — and the restaurant only accepts children aged 7 and up. Read the full review →
R-Haan
Budget starts at 5,212++ THB per person for the seasonal samrub (recent 2025 reviews cite 5,212–5,512 THB). Adding a wine pairing costs roughly another 3,512–3,812 THB — with tax and service charge included, budget somewhere in the mid-teens to low-twenties of thousands of baht per couple to be safe. Booking runs through the TableCheck system and requires a deposit to secure the table. If your group is over 5 people, call the restaurant directly at 095-141-5524 or email reservation@r-haan.com, since you may be offered one of the private rooms seating 6 or 18 instead.
The restaurant is open for dinner only, daily 18:00–23:00. There's no walk-in queue since it only accepts reservations. Get off at BTS Thong Lo, but the restaurant sits deep in Soi Paidee Madee (between Sukhumvit 53 and Thonglor Soi 9), about a 15-minute walk from the station — taking a motorbike taxi or regular taxi from the mouth of the soi is more convenient than walking. Don't forget the dress code: long trousers, closed shoes, no sportswear or sleeveless shirts, and the restaurant only accepts children aged 6 and up. Read the full review →
80/20
Budget starts at THB 4,500++ for the 14-course tasting menu (the whole table must order the same menu), plus an optional wine pairing at THB 2,800++ or THB 3,200++ depending on how many glasses. Booking is through TableCheck only, and requires a THB 1,000+VAT deposit per person. If you want a Friday or Saturday dinner table, book weeks ahead — seats fill fast. Groups of 9 or more must book via WhatsApp instead, and the restaurant doesn't take children under 5.
The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, 18:00-23:00, with last seating at 20:30 (closed Monday-Tuesday). Dress code is smart casual, enforced per the restaurant's actual policy. Getting there is easy — get off at MRT Hua Lamphong and walk about 10 minutes into the Talat Noi/Charoenkrung neighbourhood. It's worth arriving about half an hour before your reservation to wander the Talat Noi lanes and work up an appetite before the long 14 courses begin. You can flag your spice preference when booking, but shrimp paste, garlic, and chili are parts the kitchen won't leave out. Read the full review →
Akkee
The main cost is the dinner set menu at THB 3,850 per person (add-ons not included), plus the Thai craft beer and sato pairing — seven glasses for another THB 1,550 — if you want to go all out, or you can order a la carte instead. Booking goes through the widget at akkeerestaurant.com/reservation (eRestaurants system), by phone at (+66) 82 561 4691, or via LINE — seating is a small counter, so always book ahead, especially for Saturday-Sunday lunch, which fills up faster than anything else. Important note: the tasting menu has no seafood-free or vegan version.
The restaurant is in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi. Hours are dinner 17:30-23:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Saturday-Sunday adding lunch from 12:00-15:00. Closed every Wednesday. The most reliable way there is by car or taxi/Grab — the Pink Line's Pak Kret Bypass station (PK07) is the closest station, but the walking distance from the station to the restaurant hasn't been confirmed, so grabbing a Grab from the station is the safest plan. Aksorn
Budget for the THB 4,150++ per-person prix-fixe menu, plus a 10% service charge and 7% VAT. Add the wine pairing for another THB 3,200. Booking runs through the SevenRooms system, linked from aksornbkk.com, or you can call +66 2 116 8662. The good news is Aksorn is easier to book than most MICHELIN-starred restaurants in Bangkok — no need to set an alarm to fight for a slot like some places — but Friday and Saturday nights still fill up first. If you want a weekend, book 1-2 weeks ahead or more, and keep in mind there's a cancellation/no-show fee of THB 2,075 per person, so double-check your date before confirming.
The restaurant is dinner only, daily 18:00-22:00, with no lunch service. Getting there is easy for a restaurant at this level — get off at BTS Saphan Taksin and walk north along Charoenkrung Road for about 10 minutes. The restaurant is on the 5th floor of Central: The Original Store. We'd suggest arriving in the neighbourhood about an hour before your booking — walking Charoenkrung in the evening is genuinely enjoyable — before heading up for dinner. After the meal, you can carry on at the restaurant's own rooftop bar without needing to move anywhere else. Read the full review →
Aulis
Budget per person runs around THB 6,000++ for the tasting menu (THB 7,500++ during certain periods or special events), with wine pairing billed separately. Dinner runs Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 18:30; lunch is by appointment only. One key thing to know before you plan: Aulis closes for its annual season from May 16 to November 16 every year, so bookings aren't possible at all mid-year — it reopens mid-November. If your trip falls in the Andaman rainy season, shift your dates to high season instead.
Booking runs through the online system on aulisphuket.com, or call +66 96 604 5469 (email info@aulisphuket.com) — there are only 15 seats a night and they fill fast, so book several weeks ahead, especially December through February. The restaurant sits inside the Iniala Beach House hotel on Natai Beach, Takua Thung district, Phang-Nga, about a 15-minute drive north from Phuket airport across the Sarasin Bridge. It's an easy stop if you're staying in northern Phuket or around Khao Lak. Plan to arrive a little before 18:30 to catch the sunset on the beach before the meal starts. Read the full review →
Avant
Budget THB 5,900++ per person for the 9-course "AVANT Experience" dinner (with service charge and tax added, expect around THB 7,000+ per head, drinks not included). Book through Chope, which shows live seat availability, or call +66 82 466 4962 / email reservation@restaurantavant.com. The key thing to know is that the restaurant is tiny — about 10 counter seats plus a private room that holds up to 10 more — so book weeks ahead, especially for Friday–Saturday nights or holiday periods. There's no walk-in queue system; without a reservation, you don't eat.
The restaurant sits on the 30th floor of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, in the Langsuan/Soi Tonson area, about a 10-minute walk from BTS Chit Lom, or a convenient taxi/motorbike-taxi ride straight to the hotel entrance. Open Monday–Saturday 18:00–22:00, closed Sunday (some sources list a Friday–Saturday lunch service 12:00–14:30 — confirm this when you book). It's worth booking the first seating of the evening so you can take your time through all 9 courses without rushing, and get the most out of talking with Chef Haikal at the counter.
