Koh Phangan

Thong Nai Pan in the north has the prettiest, quietest beaches and is ideal for relaxing, while Srithanu suits yoga and wellness travelers — both are well away from the Haad Rin party scene.

Haad Rin is where the Full Moon Party happens, so staying nearby lets you walk back to your room. On party nights it is crowded and rooms sell out, so book well ahead.

Good for convenience — Thong Sala is the main town and ferry pier with markets, shops and easy transport to other beaches, though the beach here is not as nice as those in the north.
