This is where Thailand's kitchens show just how far they can go. It's led by Sühring, the German twins' three-star home of Wildpastete game pâté baked in pastry, followed by two-star Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie and its signature Berlingots pasta by the Chao Phraya, and Gaa, where charcoal-grilled durian meets Indian tandoor technique. Eating through it takes you from France to Italy, India, Japan and Germany without leaving one city.
Sühring
Budget to prepare: tasting menu THB 7,800 (short) or THB 9,800 (long, ~7 courses), plus wine pairings THB 5,800–9,800 if you want to go all in — all told, per person can approach twenty thousand baht if you're drinking too. Booking is the hardest part — reserve online via SevenRooms up to 60 days ahead, and since earning the 3rd star, Saturday–Sunday tables sell out within minutes of the system opening. It's recommended to click the moment the 60-day window opens, or call +66 2 107 2777 / email the restaurant directly. If you miss dinner, try aiming for lunch Thursday–Sunday 12:30–14:30, which is much easier to book.
Watch out on cancellations: within 48 hours or a no-show can incur a THB 5,800 fee per person. There's no train station right at the door — BTS Chong Nonsi and MRT Lumphini are both around 2 km away. Take a taxi from the Sathorn area, about 10 minutes, straight into Yen Akat Soi 3. Dinner starts around 17:30–18:00, closed Mondays (some sources also list Tuesday). Check the actual schedule on SevenRooms before every visit. Dress smart casual, with men in long trousers. Read the full review →
Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie
Budget to prepare: a 3-course lunch at THB 4,500++ per person, or the dinner "Voyage" menu of 7 courses at THB 9,000++ per person (plus service charge and tax), or order à la carte with a minimum of 3 dishes per person. Book through the SevenRooms system on the Mandarin Oriental website — the detail you can't afford to miss is the 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancel later than that and you're charged THB 2,250 per person for lunch, or THB 4,500 per person for dinner. Groups of 6 or more can't book online and must call +66 2 659 9000 or email the hotel directly. Any allergies or dietary restrictions also need to be flagged 48 hours in advance.
The restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday, lunch 12:00–15:30 (last order 13:30 — arrive later than that and you'll miss it), dinner 18:30–23:30 (last order 21:00), and mark this in red: 6–28 July 2026 the restaurant closes for its annual renovation. To get there, take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and walk about 10 minutes into the hotel, or if you're a hotel guest, the boat to Oriental Pier is a more comfortable option. The dress code is serious: at dinner, men must wear a jacket (loaner jackets available), and sleeveless shirts are not allowed. We'd recommend booking the 18:30 seating so you can watch the evening light turn into night lights over the Chao Phraya during your meal. Read the full review →
Chef's Table
Budget for THB 9,200++ for the seven-course menu, plus 10% service charge and 7% VAT. Add the seven-glass wine pairing and that's another THB 8,800++ — a couple should set aside somewhere in the low thirty-thousands total. Booking is easier than you'd expect — use lebua's TableCheck system online, or call +66 2 624 9555 / WhatsApp +66 61 406 9999. No need to fight for a slot months out like at other two-star names; most of the time you'll see availability just days to a few weeks ahead.
Getting there means taking BTS to Saphan Taksin and walking about 10 minutes to State Tower in the Silom/Bang Rak riverside area, but leave extra time for the lobby process and the lift up to the 61st floor. The one thing you cannot get wrong is the dress code — smart elegant, with men required to wear a collared shirt and long trousers. No T-shirts, sleeveless tops, shorts, or caps. The hotel is genuinely strict about this — show up in the wrong outfit and you may not make it upstairs at all. Book an evening slot so you catch the Bangkok skyline lit up across the glass. Côte by Mauro Colagreco
Budget to prepare: the Carte Blanche 9-course menu runs around THB 7,800 per person, or the Escapade 4-course lunch set around THB 3,300 (both plus 10% service charge and 7% VAT — lunch pricing shifts by season, so double-check when you book). Booking is done online via SevenRooms, or you can call through the Capella Bangkok hotel's reservations desk. Friday–Sunday dinner seatings fill fastest, so book at least one to two weeks ahead; weekday lunch is far more flexible.
The restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday, lunch 12:00–14:00 (last order 13:30, don't be late), dinner 18:00–22:00, closed Monday–Tuesday. To get there, take the BTS to Saphan Taksin, then walk along Charoenkrung Road for about 12 minutes, or take a short taxi ride into the hotel. Dress smart casual. If you want the best light and a clear river view, book lunch and ask for a window table; for dinner, the 18:00 seating catches the river at dusk right before the sky goes dark. Gaa
Budget for the main Gaa Experience course is THB 6,200++ per person (raised from THB 5,200, effective 1 July 2026), the vegetarian course is THB 5,200++, and the weekend afternoon tea is THB 1,800. Booking goes through TableCheck and is prepaid. The good news is you don't need to fight for a table months out the way you do at some other two-star restaurants — open the booking page and you'll usually find tables free within the next few weeks. But know the rules: free cancellation up to 48 hours before your meal (24 hours for afternoon tea), a no-show is charged the full menu price, allergies or dietary requests need at least 24 hours' notice, and if you want to bring your own wine, corkage is THB 3,000 (waived if you buy from their cellar instead).
Dinner is open daily from 17:30; Saturday and Sunday add lunch and afternoon tea from noon. Getting there is easy — take the BTS to Thong Lo, then walk into Sukhumvit Soi 53 for about 7 minutes. There's no strict dress code, just dress appropriately for the occasion. Worth repeating: this is a tasting-menu restaurant that only seats guests with a reservation — walking up to the door won't get you a table. Read the full review →

INDDEE
Budget per head starts with the 8-Destination Journey course at THB 4,200++, or the 10-Destination Journey at THB 4,900++ (vegetable version THB 4,200++), not including drinks. Add the award-winning Star Wine List wine pairing and the all-in budget MICHELIN lists runs about THB 5,000–9,999 per person. Booking is easiest through the SevenRooms system on the reservations page of inddeebkk.com, or you can call +66 62 812 9696 or email reservations@inddeebkk.com. Since the promotion to 2 stars in the 2026 guide, Friday–Saturday seats have been disappearing noticeably faster — book at least 1–2 weeks ahead, and if you want the chef's table or a private room, request it when you book.
The restaurant is open daily 17:30–23:30, in the Langsuan/Chit Lom area, about a 9-minute walk from BTS Ratchadamri. Worth knowing: the restaurant sits down a small alley off Soi Langsuan, so allow an extra 5 minutes to find the entrance; parking is available for anyone driving. The best slot is the first seating, 17:30–18:00, so you can take your time through every course of the long journey without rushing. Read the full review →
Mezzaluna
Budget starts at THB 8,000++ per person for the 7-course menu, or THB 9,600++ for 9 courses, plus 10% service and 7% VAT — set aside somewhere in the low five figures (Thai baht) per person to be comfortable. Booking goes through TableCheck and requires a THB 3,000 per-person deposit, credited against the actual bill on the day. Free amendment or cancellation up to 72 hours before your booking. If online booking isn't your thing, call +66 2 624 9555 or message WhatsApp +66 61 406 9999 instead.
The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, 17:30–00:30, closed Sundays, with the last booking slot at 21:30 — though the recommendation is to book the earliest slot at 17:30, since that's when you get the full sunset over the Chao Phraya from the 65th floor. Getting there is easier than it sounds: take the BTS to Saphan Taksin, then walk about 7 minutes to State Tower, allowing a little extra time for lobby security and the lift up to the 65th floor. Don't forget to dress to the smart elegant code — men need a collared shirt and long trousers — and the restaurant only accepts children aged 7 and up. Read the full review →
Avant
Budget THB 5,900++ per person for the 9-course "AVANT Experience" dinner (with service charge and tax added, expect around THB 7,000+ per head, drinks not included). Book through Chope, which shows live seat availability, or call +66 82 466 4962 / email reservation@restaurantavant.com. The key thing to know is that the restaurant is tiny — about 10 counter seats plus a private room that holds up to 10 more — so book weeks ahead, especially for Friday–Saturday nights or holiday periods. There's no walk-in queue system; without a reservation, you don't eat.
The restaurant sits on the 30th floor of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, in the Langsuan/Soi Tonson area, about a 10-minute walk from BTS Chit Lom, or a convenient taxi/motorbike-taxi ride straight to the hotel entrance. Open Monday–Saturday 18:00–22:00, closed Sunday (some sources list a Friday–Saturday lunch service 12:00–14:30 — confirm this when you book). It's worth booking the first seating of the evening so you can take your time through all 9 courses without rushing, and get the most out of talking with Chef Haikal at the counter. Blue by Alain Ducasse
Budget to prepare: the Escale lunch set starts at around THB 2,950++, the most affordable entry point and clearly easier to book than the evening service. Dinner tasting menus run around THB 4,900-7,500++, with Menu Voyage as the top pick. The menu rotates seasonally, so check the current price again when you book. Booking runs mainly through SevenRooms, or you can book via blue-alainducasse.com or call +66 (0)6 5731 2346. The restaurant only accepts guests with an advance reservation. If you want a private room (Bronze Room, 6 people / Pink Room, 8-10 people), mention it at the time of booking.
Getting there is easier than you'd think — take the Gold Line to Charoen Nakhon station, then walk just 3 minutes into ICONSIAM, or take the ICONSIAM shuttle boat from Sathorn Pier for a river view thrown in. Hours: lunch 12:00-13:30 and dinner 18:00-20:30 (last seating), with no lunch service on Tuesdays. Booking the first dinner seating in time for sunset over the Chao Phraya is recommended — that's when the view from the restaurant is at its best. Read the full review →
Cannubi by Umberto Bombana
The main cost is the 7-course tasting menu at THB 5,500++ per person, or THB 7,400++ with a 3-glass wine pairing (++ = 10% service plus 7% VAT). A set lunch and à la carte are available as lighter options. Book through TableCheck for Dusit Thani Bangkok, by phone at +66 2 200 9000, or by email at cannubi.dtbk@dusit.com. A deposit of THB 2,000 per person is required (full prepayment on festive days), the restaurant asks for bookings at least 3 hours ahead, and tables are held for only 15 minutes past the reservation time — arrive later than that and you risk losing your table.
The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday, lunch 12:00–14:30 (last order 14:00), dinner 18:00–22:00 (last order 21:30), closed Monday and Tuesday, which means weekend dinner slots always fill first — book early if you want one. Getting there is easy: take the MRT to Si Lom station, which connects directly into the hotel, or it's just a few minutes' walk from BTS Sala Daeng. Don't forget the dress code — elegant attire, no shorts or sandals. Read the full review →
Elements, Inspired by Ciel Bleu
Budget per person depends on the menu you choose — there are 3 tasting-menu levels: Ku-Ki (4 courses), Chikyu (6 courses), and Mizu (8 courses). Booked as a package through Hungry Hub, prices run THB 3,000 / THB 4,900 / THB 7,300 net per person, usually cheaper than the menu price. You can book 3 ways: the hotel's TableCheck (allow 24 hours for confirmation), Chope, or Hungry Hub, or call 02-687-9000. The dining room is small with limited seats, so book several days ahead for weekends, and don't forget to ask for a window-side table when you book if you want the full Bangkok skyline view.
The restaurant is open for dinner only, Wednesday-Sunday, 18:00-22:30 (last order 21:30, closed Monday-Tuesday). We recommend the 18:00-18:30 seating so you catch the sunset carrying through into the city lighting up. Getting there is easy: BTS Phloen Chit has a skywalk connecting straight into The Okura Prestige hotel, about a 3-minute walk, then take the lift up to the 25th floor Read the full review →
etcha
Budget for etcha starts at THB 3,750 for the etcha 180 menu (8+ courses), or THB 4,750 for etcha 360 (11+ courses). Wine pairings come in three tiers — THB 1,600 / THB 2,500 / THB 3,250 — and don't forget to add 10% service charge and 7% VAT on top. Booking runs through the SevenRooms system at etchabkk.com, or by phone at +66 2 126 7999 / LINE. One thing worth knowing before you book: the restaurant takes a full deposit at the time of reservation, and if you cancel within 72 hours of your booking or don't show up, that deposit is forfeited — so double-check your schedule first.
The restaurant is dinner-only, Tuesday–Saturday from 18:00 (closed Sunday–Monday). Seating is limited and it's only open five nights a week, so with a brand-new 2026 star, booking several days to a few weeks ahead is worth it. Getting there is easier than it sounds — the restaurant is on the 7th floor of Chatrium Grand Bangkok on Phetchaburi Road, about a 5-minute walk from BTS Ratchathewi. Returning guests can request course substitutions in advance so they don't repeat a dish from a previous visit. Read the full review →
Gaggan
Budget THB 16,000 per person — this price includes wine or a non-alcoholic pairing, plus 10% service and 7% VAT, but a further 3.2% booking fee is added when you pay. There's only one way to book: the SevenRooms system via gaggan.com. You must pay the full amount immediately to confirm your seat, and the policy is strictly no refund / no cancellation. Walk-ins are never accepted. Seats are limited to 14 per sitting, and the 18:00 and 21:00 sittings usually sell out within minutes of booking opening. The way to get a seat is to set a reminder and book the instant the sitting opens, planning about 1-3 months ahead — the 21:00 sitting and booking solo both improve your odds. Online bookings are capped at 6 per group.
The restaurant is open for dinner only, Thursday-Monday, closed Tuesday-Wednesday, in the Sukhumvit area, about a 15-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong or MRT Phetchaburi. Arrive 15 minutes before your sitting. Dress code is casual, as the restaurant states — no need for a suit or tie. Read the full review →
GOAT
Budget per person is around THB 4,590++ for the tasting menu (price reported Aug 2025), with a kids' menu at THB 1,590 and corkage at THB 1,000++. Book directly through TableCheck, or call 065-095-6132 / email for groups larger than 6. The key detail: a 50% credit-card deposit of the menu price is required, cancellations are free with at least 72 hours' notice, and late cancellations or no-shows are charged in full. Minimum booking is 2 people, children aged 8 and up are welcome, and since the star + green star announcement in late 2025 it's best to book at least 1-2 weeks ahead, especially for Friday-Saturday.
The restaurant is on Ekkamai Soi 10, about a 15-minute walk from BTS Ekkamai. Parking is very limited (~5 spots), so taking a car service is a better bet than driving yourself. Open Wednesday-Sunday 18:00-23:00, but seating is only during 18:00-19:30 — don't arrive late. Dress code is smart casual. Anyone with food allergies should give at least 24 hours' notice — the kitchen can adapt to vegetarian, but not vegan/gluten-free. Read the full review →
Haoma
Budget to prepare: a 10-course dinner tasting menu at THB 4,990++ per person (choice of meat & seafood or vegetarian), or weekend lunch — 6 courses at THB 3,290++. Add a drink pairing starting at THB 3,290++. Booking runs through Chope in real time (with a THB 500 per-person credit card pre-authorization — not a charge, just a hold), or you can book via the website haoma.dk, email reservations@haoma.dk, or Line @haomabkk. Let them know about any dietary restrictions in advance — call +66 92 891 8222.
Getting there takes a bit of planning. The restaurant sits deep in Sukhumvit Soi 31, about a 15-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong — a motorcycle taxi or car into the soi is much more convenient. Open Tuesday–Friday 17:30–22:00, with Saturday-Sunday adding both a lunch service (12:00–14:00) and dinner. Closed Mondays. First-timers who don't want to pay full price should go for the weekend lunch — the best-value way in. Vegetarian diners can book with confidence, since there's a complete, separate menu built just for them. Read the full review →
